If it is anything like mine, it looks like a kindergarten art project rather than professional instruction. This got me to thinking....Sal Kahn must have a trick up his sleeve to be able to work out math problems with such artistic detail. Turns out, online teachers have a significant need for drawing tablets. These specialized mouse pads use a pen to help you illustrate and write with ease.
Teaching several online classes gave me the perfect excuse to splurge on the Huion H420 USB Graphics Drawing Tablet Board Kit. At $30, I figured it was worth a try.
The Huion Graphics Drawing Tablet has been a game changer. It is easy to use and has improved my handwriting tremendously. It is small, which makes it mobile and easy to stow away when not in use. I love that it works well with Windows and Macs.
Set up is simple. Once the driver is installed, it becomes a “plug and play” device. It has lots of additional features for creative individuals, but for me it’s just a pen for writing on the zoom whiteboard and I couldn’t be happier.
I am pleased to report that my online penmanship has progressed to 5th grade mastery.
